For all those that loved the first 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs', the second edition hits theatres on October 25th with a new exciting storyline.

The first film was positively received gaining a 7/10 on IMDb and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, and Columbia Pictures, the local office for Sony Pictures Releasing International hope the second will do as equally well amongst critics.

Co-director Kirs Pearn said the film took inspiration of iconic people, "Chester V is a composite of blue-jean billionaires like Steve Jobs and Richard Branson". Chester V, voiced by MacGruber actor Will Forte, serves as a famous inventor and CEO of Live Corportation, as well as a role model to the movie's lead character, Flint Lockwood.

Co-director Cody Cameron said that Chester V's vest is shaped like a carrot so that the second he walks, it dangles in front of Flint the entire movie. "It's like a letterman jacket," he said.

The directors said that they made Forte try out several different voices for MacGruber before they could finally nail down the perfect comedic tone - "We went with what sounded the most warm, almost a Walt Disney figure somewhere between a grandfather and kooky wizard," Cameron said. "He kind of represents what Flint would become if Flint stays on the path Flint goes on in this film."

'New' music from Paul McCartney

As inventor Flint Lockwood returns to the island of Swallow Falls to save the world – again! – he’ll be doing it to the brand “new” beat from Paul McCartney as his single, “New,” will be featured in the film.

“New,” which is produced by Mark Ronson and now available for sale as a digital download, is the title track from McCartney’s forthcoming “New” album, set for release on October 14th in the UK and October 15th in the US.
