Apple have sent out press invitations featuring the tagline "this should brighten everyone's day" for their iPhone event on September 10th at 10am in Cupterino, California.
If the rumors are true, we should expect to see two new iPhones launch at the event - the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, a budget version of the smartphone. If both debut on the same day, it will be the first time Apple has unveiled two separate iPhone devices at once.
Rumors indicate the iPhone 5S could come in gold and even include a fingerprint scanner. The iPhone 5C is expected to be colorful and, recently leaked images and videos show the casing comes in blue, green, yellow, pink and white.
Apple's invitation design uses the colourful dots and fonts that are in line with the style of the new iOS 7 software, that has been in beta for months and will most likely be the default iOS installed on the new devices.
Apple called the overhaul to iOS 7 "the biggest change to iOS since the original iPhone."
The next-generation iPad and iPad mini are expected to launch at another event, possibly in October, so users waiting for the next iPad shouldn't expect to see any details of them at the event on September 10th.
