In a world full of content, how do you know what's best to read? Easy. Let Twitter decide for you with their new 'Moments' feature.
Granted, 'Moments' isn't totally new since it's been live elsewhere (America) since October. But today (Dec 15) the UK became the first European country to launch the service.
Twitter has recently been rolling out both minor and major updates in a bid to ease confusion for users who are signing up to the service for the first time.

'Moments' is in a similar vein to Snapchat's 'Discover' section, allowing curated and interesting tweets on stories "that matter right now".
Basically, you'll be seeing live 'Moments' of things like The GRAMMYs, the Superbowl and breaking news over the next few months.
How Do You Find 'Moments'?

Twitter has added the 'Moments' tab to both desktop and mobile devices and you can access the stories via a lightning bolt next to your home tab. Sorry, notifications.
Once in, you'll see a collection of tweets, photos, videos, gifs and Vines that make up these 'Moments'.
You can filter through today, news, sports, entertainment and fun with no doubt more to be added in the near future. The mix of silly entertainment posts is going to be a welcomed addition in amongst some of the harder news doing the rounds. Who doesn't want to laugh?
If you really love a story, you have the ability to follow a 'Moment' and have curated tweets seamlessly blend into your timeline without having to follow too many accounts.
Is It Any Good?
As of now, 'Moments' are collected and curated by Twitters in-house team of journalists and news-gatherers; but I'm sure we'll see expansion into deals with large corporations and the inclusion of ads (I've already seen talk of "Promoted Moments" in the UK.)
This is okay, as long as the content remains rich. Click-bait titles and pointless articles are becoming increasingly tiring and I would rather them not fall into what could be a reputable news source.

Joanna Geary from the UK 'Moments' team has said: "It's not just about stars, celebrities. It's also about eyewitnesses, people on the street, great one-liners, the conversations people are having, the whole diversity of the story on Twitter," and I'd be inclined to agree with her.
Twitter has become in itself one of the fastest and engaging news-breaking outlets for some time and I fully support their efforts to expand on this feature. I just hope it doesn't become too ad-focussed. We'll see.
